Tamansari Riverside Garden City
Asie is developing Riverside Garden City, a major urban regeneration project in the inner city of Kuala Lumpur popularly known as the Pekeliling Flats Area.
Riverside Garden City is located on the northern city limits of Kuala Lumpur. It sits strategically at the crossroads of Jalan Tun Razak, Jalan Pahang and the Gombak River.
Under the concession agreement established in 1999, we are spearheading one of Kuala Lumpur's most ambitious and challenging urban renewal efforts. This transformative initiative aims to reshape the city's skyline, breathing new life into the urban landscape while setting a benchmark for innovation and excellence in modern development.
Spanning 55 acres at the crossroads of Jalan Tun Razak and Jalan Pahang, this landmark project redevelops the iconic Pekeliling Flats into Taman Sari, a vibrant, self-contained urban community. Featuring residential, business, and recreational spaces, along with a resort-like environment of parklands and waterways, the development redefines modern living while revitalizing the Gombak River into a clean and dynamic urban waterfront.
PA Desa Rejang
As part of our regeneration project, ASIE successfully delivered Sri Rampai 1 & Sri Rampai 2, featuring 1,920 units of modern public housing spread across eight 20-storey blocks, and 871 units spread across four 20-storey blocks respectively.
In return, ASIE was handed over Parcels K, P, H, J, N as part of the concession agreement
This vibrant community hub includes a multi-purpose hall, a surau, and a bustling hawker center, offering residents a well-rounded living experience. These homes now accommodate dwellers relocated from the original Pekeliling Flats, ensuring continuity and a better quality of life.
Today, it is called Perumahan Awam (PA) Desa Rejang.
TAMANSARI PROJECT COMPONENTS
Parcel M - All-Suites Corporate Quarters and Marriage Pavilion
The 35-storey twin tower, mounted on part of the City Walk, will house all-suites Corporate Quarters, a 5-star resort-style hotel, and the Marriage Pavilion, overlooking the Gombak River.
Parcel N - Office Tower
The semi-circular intelligent building cascading from 25 to 30 storeys will offer some 500,000 sq ft of office space.
Parcel P - The Residency Luxury Condominiums
This semi-circular 30-storey building complements the office tower in Parcel N, offering 304 luxurious residential units.
Parcel Q - Luxury Condominiums
Some 150 high-end luxury condominium units will be housed in six 15-storey blocks fronting the Gombak River Promenade.
Parcel R - Condominiums
A 27-storey luxury condominium block fronting the Gombak River Promenade will be directly connected to the Transportation Plaza and the City Walk via a bridge (Parcel W).
Parcel A - The Menara Sari Complex and 5-Star Luxury Spa Hotel
This parcel will have the tallest building in Taman Sari, sitting atop part of the "City Walk," fronting the most breathtaking view of the Gombak River Promenade. The 40-storey twin tower signature entry—one office tower and the other retail—will also house a 5-star 350-room hotel tower.
Parcel B - Plaza on the Park
This commercial plaza fronting the Gombak River Promenade is earmarked for business-related activities. The super-intelligent cascading building ranges from 10 to 22 storeys and will boast a flexible modular concept with private entrances suitable for working.
Parcel C - Condominiums
This parcel will comprise 446 units of condominiums in two 38-storey and one 36-storey condominium blocks, sharing modern facilities and easy access to various amenities.
Parcel F - Medical Centre & Hospital Apartment
The 24-storey twin towers sited on a common podium will house the Brain, Spine, and Nerves specialist care center and a children's hospital, with temporary or permanent lodging facilities for doctors, nurses, and patients’ families.
Parcel G - Condominiums
The 32-storey condominium complex, comprising 240 units, fronts Jalan Tun Razak and will be directly connected to the Transportation Plaza and the "City Walk."
Parcel H - Apartment Towers Over City Walk
The 25-storey twin tower housing 300 apartment units will sit above part of the "City Walk" and will be directly connected to the Transportation Plaza.
Parcel I - Apartment Block on a Commercial Podium
A 22-storey serviced apartment tower and 12-storey apartment tower will sit on the commercial podium linked to the "City Walk," fronting Jalan Tun Razak.
Parcel K - Apartments and Townhouses on a Commercial Podium
Four blocks of 25-storey towers consisting of 600 condominium units will sit as part of the "City Walk," while 180 units of townhouses will occupy the lower podium level and commercial areas of the shared podium.
Parcel L - Service Apartments Over Transportation Plaza
A 25-storey serviced apartment consisting of 300 units will sit above a retail and commercial podium with an intra-city terminal with city buses and taxis on the ground level at the podium connecting to the Transportation Plaza in Parcel X.
Elevated Structures
Parcel V - City Walk Over Gombak River
A 2-storey elevated structure across the Gombak River with retail and shopping areas connecting the "City Walk" Retail and Shopping Centre.
Parcel W - Restaurant Overlooking Gombak River
A 2-storey elevated structure with a restaurant overlooking the river and connecting the high-end residences on Parcels Q and R across the Gombak River to the "Transportation Plaza" and the "City Walk."
Parcel X - Transportation Plaza
The 3-storey structure elevated above Jalan Tun Razak will connect the three multimodal public transportation—LRT, PRT, and intra-city buses and taxis—and the retail and shopping center at the adjacent serviced apartment in Parcel L.
Parcel Y - Skybridge Over Jalan Tun Razak
The 3-storey elevated structure across Jalan Tun Razak with retail and shopping areas will form part of the "City Walk" Retail and Shopping Centre.
